Lying 250 km southwest of Abu Dhabi, Delma Island Airport may only handle 180 movements per month, but it provides a critical link for the 6,000 island residents, providing them with a flight connection to the mainland. GANS has been providing Aerodrome Control Services at Delma Airport since 2009 for which civil certification of the ATC Service was achieved in 2016.

Sir Bani Yas Island Airport is located 250 km southwest of Abu Dhabi and caters mainly to tourism traffic. Sir Bani Yas Island Airport was the first airport within the United Arab Emirates to be certified for Aerodrome Flight Information Services which are provided by GANS.

The only exclusive business aviation airport in the Middle East, Al Bateen Executive Airport located in Abu Dhabi recorded over 29,000 aircraft movements in 2017. The Airport regularly plays hosts to high-profile events such as the Abu Dhabi Air Expo and the Red Bull Air Race. GANS is responsible for 24/7 Aerodrome Control Service and ANS Engineering.

Located 18km northwest of Al Ain City, Al Ain International Airport is Abu Dhabi’s second international airport. In addition to hosting two scheduled airlines, Al Ain International Airport is also home to a number of civilian and military flying and training organisations: Khalifa Bin Zayed Flying Academy, Etihad Flight College, and Horizon Flight Training Academy. Due to the nature of flying and training, aircraft movements are often in excess of 600 movements per day, all of which are accommodated on a single runway and normally during daylight hours only. Al Ain International Airport is also undergoing major infrastructural changes to accommodate a new VVIP terminal and MOR facilities as part of the aerospace park. GANS provides Aerodrome Services and ANS Engineering Services at Al Ain.

Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH/OMAA) is located outside the city of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and is the second-largest airport in the country.

Home to the national flag carrier of the UAE – Etihad Airways – the airport offers travel to over 100 destinations, in over 50 countries. Aircraft movements at Abu Dhabi International Airport grew by over 90% in the 10-year period from 2007 to 2017. With the airport currently recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is handling around 300 daily movements in a parallel runway modality.

The airport is presently undertaking a major upgrade program, which will culminate in the opening of the Midfield Terminal Building expected in 2023.

GANS provides Aeronautical Information Services (AIS), ANS Engineering Services (CNS), and Air Traffic Services (ATS), consisting of the provision of Aerodrome and Approach Control Surveillance Services, Flight Information Services, and Alerting Services at multiple airports within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
