GAL Air Navigation Services (GAL ANS) at the Heli conference Dubai 2017

The GAL ANS CEO, along with a senior management delegation, attended the Heli Conference Dubai 2017, 17th & 18th April 2017. Demonstrating GAL ANS commitment to aviation safety, Mohammed Husain Al Dhaheri, GAL ANS Manager Air Traffic Control at Joint Aviation Command, presented a paper as a keynote speaker entitled “Operating Helicopters in Congested Airspaces – The UAE Approach to Safety’”. He was also invited to participate in the Conference Panel, which included the GCAA, to discuss safety levels and how technology will need to evolve. The Heli Conference highlighted the continued growth of the UAE and overall the MEASA Region, specifically in the aviation sector. The Heli Conference speakers also emphasized current and future challenges, including technology, new airspace user like Uber-Helicopters, and UAS and the integration into the already congested airspace.
