Our Story

The company was originally set up as Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL), a subsidiary of EAIG (now Yas Holding), as a specialist provider of Air Navigation Services and Aerospace Support Services. Initially, only military air navigation services were provided.

After signing a cooperation agreement with LFV Aviation Consulting, a Swedish airport service provider, GANS entered into the civil air navigation market with Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. This was followed by the provision of services to Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) which includes Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport, Sir Bani Yas Island Airport, and Delma Airport.

In 2013, the company rebranded to GAL Air Navigation Services (GAL ANS) and then to Global Air Navigation Services (GANS) in 2020.

With over 900 highly skilled subject matter experts based in 17 locations, GANS provides services to civil and military airports and airbases.

We are a leading provider of air navigation services and solutions. Today, we are responsible for the provision of safe and efficient air traffic services handling over half a million air traffic movements annually before the COVID-19 pandemic.
