Following the relocation of the Approach Control from an adjacent unit to an Air Traffic Services Unit in which GANS provides the function, the transitioned Approach control function was integrated into the Approach Control Room at the GANS-operated facility and the migrated Approach sectors operated alongside the other radar positions within the Approach facility. It was decided, as part of this integration, to rename the CTA to become a sector within the existing CTA.
