A new Electronic Flight Strip (EFS) system, namely DIFLIS, was implemented to replace the previous electronic strips.  In addition, a Departure Manager (DMAN) was introduced resulting in reduced delays at the runway holding point at peak times and associated savings in fuel burn and emissions. The scope of the project was amended to include a Data Management Unit (DMU), which acts as a message broker to enable data to flow between the respective tower systems and external agencies. GANS led the project for the procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of the systems within the scope of the contract.
