GANS provided Air Navigation and Engineering consultancy services to establish Air Traffic Services using a Mobile Tower. A TTLS (Transportable Transponder Landing System) was installed to provide ILS capability, together with a portable TACAN. A solar-powered Airfield Ground Lighting System was installed for the runway. Mobile Cable and Net Aircraft Arresting Gear (Barriers) were also installed. A full permanent ATC Tower was later equipped (by Contractor) and maintained by GANS, while the Mobile ATC Tower was retained on site as a contingency tower.
