Project References

The existing Voice & Data Recorders were nearing the end of their operational life and were due for replacement. In addition, the expansion of ATM systems meant that there was a significant increase in the number of systems that needed to be recorded, including ‘At the Glass’ recording.

The tender process resulted in the selection of a Ricochet recording system that has sufficient capacity to meet the expanding requirements. The system was implemented successfully at two International Airports and the end-users have reported that the new VDR is considerably easier to use than the previous system.

A further project is underway to replace the Voice and Data Recorder at another airport at which GANS provides Air Navigation Services.
